Senior Engineer – Mechanical Engineering

London, UK

I started my career in sustainability before transitioning into mechanical design. I joined Cundall in 2015 with 5 years’ experience and have since become a Chartered Engineer.

I’ve worked on a variety of different and prestigious projects including high-rise buildings and luxury residential schemes. I’m currently in the workplace team in the London office working on new developments and fit out projects.

I’ve been heavily involved with the CIBSE Young Engineers Network (YEN) since 2013 when I helped set up the East Midlands centre. I am now currently the chair of the London centre. We provide a mixture of technical seminars, site visits, social events and networking opportunities for young engineers and related professionals working in the built environment in London and the surrounding areas.

When I was at school I wanted to become an architect as I didn’t know much about the opportunities available to me in engineering. However, during my combined architecture and engineering degree at the University of Nottingham I preferred the engineering side of buildings. Since joining the industry I’ve taken part in several school career events to encourage young people into the engineering profession.
