After undertaking a traditional engineering apprenticeship and obtaining my BTEC and HNC in Electrical Engineering, I continued my studies and graduated from Birmingham Polytechnic with a BEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and I also have an MSc in Building Services from Brunel University.

I became a corporate member of IHEEM in 1993, in 1995 became a Chartered Engineer and in 1996 was elected as a corporate member of CIBSE. I have worked for several large consultancies before starting and running my own building services consultancy for 6 years, just prior to joining Cundall in 2013.

I like to get involved with various charities but the one that is special to my family is the Chernobyl Children’s Project. My wife and I co-ordinate our local group in Solihull. The group provides recuperative holidays for children in remission from various types of cancer who are still effected by the Chernobyl accident in 1986. Over the last 10 years we have raised funds to provide a four week recuperative holiday for the children who stop with host families in the Solihull area and, so far the group have looked after over 150 children.
