Associate – Sustainability

I first started working for Cundall when I became chartered back in 2005. More recently in 2016 I completed the WELL Standard AP course and in 2017 became a Fellow member with CIBSE.

The majority of my time with Cundall has been with the Birmingham Sustainability team, where we look at all things relating to energy and sustainability. I enjoy my role with the team as we like to improve the projects where we can, this is sometimes reducing energy or carbon and improving comfort, through increasing building fabric performance, or services efficiencies.

With regards to sustainability I was a BREEAM assessor in 2008 and I am currently a BREEAM AP. I enjoy the BREEAM pre-assessment stage where during workshops I can have a positive impact on projects such as suggesting landscaping is planted with wild flower seeds to increase species.
